She has had type 1 diabetes since 1978. She is a registered board-certified art therapist and Pennsylvania licensed professional counselor where she helps people with diabetes issues like depression, burnout, food and other issues in her private practice in suburban Philadelphia.
She personifies taking what you do, what you love, and making a difference in the world around us.
She is also a blogger at her The Butter Compartment.
This week the diabetes community was invited to take part in Diabetes Art Day which she founded and she also facilitates the World Diabetes Day Postcard Exchange.
She is Adjunct Professor of Art Therapy at Holy Family University and she is Lee Ann Thill and she is Diabetesdad’s T.G.I.F.
