I was in Washington DC this week for a conference. I had an hour for lunch and have not been to Arlington Cemetery since I was six, so I took a quick run over there.
The man you see here is as ‘spit-and-shine’ perfect as you will ever see. He is a soldier at Arlington Cemetery in Washington DC in the elite company at the Tomb of the Unknowns or the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers.
Each action is meticulously done to perfection. But it is not this man I want you to notice.
It is the group of Veterans behind this man.
I spoke to them and they said “…..they had to make the trip………for their brothers who never came home”.
“Had to”? Really? Seriously?
I cried right there.
What’s your excuse for not doing something? Just don’t do nothing.
