Is it just me, or do you also find one of the best things about being part of the diabetes online community is watching all of these babies being born and growing up right in front of our eyes?
Remembering when our friends were pregnant, the anticipation, and finally the blessed day has now left us with hundreds, and if not thousands, of incredible pictures of these kids doing…..well everyting. These parents had an easy time, a tough time, and some had even an impossible time which makes these beautiful kids now with us, so wonderful.
Now I may be biased but it seems to me that these kids are just the cutest around, don’t you agree?
So if you have been sharing photos of your kids in the best of wardrobes, the silliest of faces, or just being gosh-darn-cute; please do us a huge favor and never stop.
I feel like an online-uncle and I enjoy every minute of it, with every day being a new surprise and causing tons of smiles………..don’t you just love all of these baby pictures???

I, too, enjoy following the pregnancies of T1D moms and are so grateful that they allow me to follow their pregnancies through to the birth of their adorable, healthy babies.
One of my worries when my 10 year-old daughter was diagnosed almost 4 years ago was whether she would be able to have a (successful) pregnancy, if she so wished. Shortly after her diagnosis, I found the DOC and specifically, Six Until Me. Sure it will be harder for my daughter than if she didn’t have diabetes, but what a relief it was to me to see pregnancy was still a viable option for my daughter.
